Efficient Room Air Conditioner Design Challenge
In support of the Cambridge Energy Alliance's efforts to reduce green house gas emissions, the Barr Foundation is sponsoring a competition to promote the design and development of promising prototype A/Cs which are more effective than conventional models through better mounting and installation, cycling and controls, etc. An award of $30,000 is offered, with a deadline of July 14.
