The Cambridge Energy Alliance is proud to announce that it will be featured on the PBS Emmy Award Winning weekly newsmagazine, NOW. On Friday, March 28th,
the program will feature the city-wide campaign underway to make
buildings throughout Cambridge more energy efficient, while saving
money and reducing emissions that are causing climate change.
Over the past several weeks, the cameras and crew of NOW detailed the work of the Cambridge Energy Alliance. The
show will include discussions with many Alliance leaders and
stakeholders, including homeowners and businesses already on the path
to greater efficiency.
NOW,
hosted by veteran journalist David Brancaccio, has a long history of
addressing issues of global concern to viewers across the country. Past
shows have focused on religion in politics, the battle over private
development on public lands, and the economic anxieties of the middle
class.
The NOW program on the Cambridge Energy Alliance will air on Friday, March 28th on over 300 PBS affiliates across the country. In the Boston area, the segment will first air at 8:00pm on WGBH. The program can also be viewed over the internet through the programs website, www.pbs.org/now.
